
| “And with His staff, He wiped away all the designs in the sand.” 1.) In this action we see: a.) All the generosity of the Teacher, b.) All His riches, c.) All the dismissal of the past, and the striving into the future. 2.) But people turn everything into the ordinary – so that all their actions (whether personal or national; material or spiritual) are deprived of enthusiasm. ***3.) However, if our daily labor is consecrated in the Name of the Teacher, it cannot be ordinary or tiresome. *4.) Indeed, if we forget for what we labor, boredom will cover us with a shroud of decay. |
| He said, “Oh, how Aum shall penetrate into the human consciousness! Here I have drawn a pistil and above it an arc and have set the foundation in four directions. When, by human hands and human feet, the Temple shall be built wherein will blossom the pistil laid by Me, then let the builders pass by My way. Why shall We await the way when it is before Us?” Then rising, He effaced [wipe away] with His cane all which He had drawn. “When the Name of the Temple shall be pronounced then shall the inscription emerge. In remembrance of My constellation, the square and nine stars shall glow over the Temple.
