One can get the reflection of the Sun, in a cup of water or on the mirror of a 200 degree telescope, (i) the former (water cup) is a faint image, (ii) while the latter is an image of such blinding brightness that no one can look at it. *(iii) It is the receiver which determines the reception, and makes all the difference. (iv) The Sun remains unaffected by these different conditions. ***b.) Similarly, the ""different kinds of Divine consciousness"" which we contact on the different planes, are really "reflections of the ultimate reality, in different grades of chitta or mind". |
| 23.) It is our: (a) non-receptivity and (b) lack of refinement, that prevent us from recognizing and connecting to this exalted Inner Reality. ***24.) As ‘radio sets’: a.) bathed in a ‘sea of electrical waves’, we can only catch those "waves to which we can tune ourselves." b.) Because our ‘radio sets’ are either improperly adjusted or poorly developed, c.) we are unable to ‘tune in’ to the subtler and more rarified states of consciousness emanating from the Heart of the Sun and the Great Central Sun. |
