So each disciple should say to himself, “I will be like Agni.” *10.) One must grow to love fiery sacrifice, as the closest means of communion with the Fiery World. *11.) Without this ""self-sacrificial striving"" it is not easy to rise above the claws of evil. *12.) Like Fire, which is elusive, consciousness becomes mobile when united with Agni. |
| *** Giving is Divine *1.) Inexhaustible giving can find in varying degrees in all of nature. ***2.) Fire is the element in which giving is most apparent and obvious. *3.) The very principle of Fire is transmutation and constant giving. *4.) Fire cannot exist without the ‘sacrifice of giving’. *5.) Likewise, the fiery seed of spirit exists through giving. 6.) Mental and compulsive sacrifice is not natural and not divine. |
